The brake pad spring is a type of positioning component. As shown in the image, it consists of two metal positioning springs and one torsion return spring. The positioning springs are primarily made of high-carbon steel, with a galvanized and passivated surface treatment, providing high elasticity and corrosion resistance. They feature a claw-like design with precise latches and limiting grooves, allowing them to be inserted into pre-drilled holes in the brake pad backplate. The return spring is also made of high-carbon steel, with surface treatments enhancing corrosion resistance while maintaining high elasticity. Its torsion design has small protrusions at both ends that engage with the gap between the caliper and the brake pad, using torsional elasticity to "spring" the brake pad away from the brake disc surface, maintaining a 0.1-0.3mm gap.
